I'm Tanvi,
nice to meet you.
Most recently, I worked at Visa.Inc as a Data Experience Design Engineer — crafting accessible, human-centered dashboards, contributing to the chart component of our design system, and creating internal training materials to support better data visualization practices.
I’m currently exploring opportunities as a Data Visualization Designer, UX Designer, or Product Designer—roles where I can bring together my design thinking, visual storytelling, and love for systems.
With 3 years of industrial experience as an Architect in India, I involved myself in design projects which enhance the quality of user experience of customers, which has reflected my passion for human-centric design via data storytelling.

I was born and raised in India, which explains why I love bright colors, Indian food, tradition, and culture. Apart from design, I love playing basketball, cooking, henna designing, and anything & everything to do with home decor and plants!

architecture + data viz
An architect needs to communicate their design ideas to a client by visualizing the structure in an easily digestible way.
I believe that architecture and visualization go hand-in-hand and I'm keen on transitioning from designing physical spaces to digital ones, encompassing a human-centric design approach combined with aesthetic quality.
what I'm currently upto
I’m currently diving deep into the world of AI within UX design. Through my ongoing coursework for UI/UX for AI products from Stanford University, I’m exploring how, when, and what to leverage when working with AI; beyond just the hype. I’m especially interested in how AI can support efficiency in workflows, enhance creative decision-making, and simplify data visualization tasks that often feel repetitive or time-consuming.
This phase is all about experimenting: understanding where AI fits in, where it doesn’t, and how to prototype ideas that strike the right balance between machine intelligence and human intention.
what I'm curious about
I am eager to transform complex data into interesting visuals by communicating the information that showcases meaningful patterns and strong insights through creative graphs, charts, and dashboards.
Design is a way of storytelling and I love how data can be used as a subject to produce beautiful and powerful stories.
